ACADEMIC YEAR AND SCHOOL OPERATIONS |
|
The academic year commences in September every year and ends in August on the
following year. Three terms in the calendar year virtually coincide with the
government schools holidays. Term tests are held at the end of each term and
reports are issued to evaluate the performance of students. Every term end
parents teachers meetings are held to allow parents to interact with the class
and subject teachers to evaluate the performance of their children. An extra
study centre is carried out by the senior teachers especially to support the
students in the weaker areas of their subject content. Special vacation classes
are also conducted during holidays for students to develop their difficult areas
to reach the standard required of the class.
