OKI International School Negombo was established on 07th July 2007 with only 3 students and 2 Teachers. After five years of operations, the students’ strength has now increased to 176 with a teaching staff of 15. |

Academic Stream |
Currently the school has classes up to Grade 6. At Grade 8, option will be given to choose between Cambridge University and National curriculum. In both pathways students will be given the choice to select either Science or Commerce stream. English is the medium of studies but the Sinhalese is taught from Primary School. Branch has Trained Teachers with teaching experience.

Co-Curricular |
Conforming to the co- curricular activities at the main school Wattala, Negombo Branch has Speech Society, Literary Association contributing for a language day programs. This Year the Language Day was held at Guruge Park,Ja-Ela
Children of all religions namely Roman Catholicism, Buddhism, Islam and Hinduism conduct religious ceremonies two days a week. Each religious denomination holds a “Religious Day” on a day significant to their religious doctrine.
Branch celebrated the Posaon Bakthi Gee on !st of June 2012.
Negombo Branch became the Second Runners up in Inter Branch Percussion Band Competition Held this year.
This year branch Percussion Band was established and participated the inter
branch Band competition.
With the participation of Grade 3,4,5,6 students Literary Association came into
being this year. In the morning assembly students discuss subject related
matters.

Sports |
Currently the students engage in the sporting activities including Badminton/
Swimming/ Athletics.
Eminent coaches guide the children and many children have excelled in their
respective sporting activities.
