What a diversity and the spectrum covered all by himself within the principle
“Only Education”!. The magnitude and with clear focus of investments displayed
• His burning desire to invest only on Godly Ventures nothing but ‘Education’
and not lucrative Satanic money spinners.
• He never had any ulterior motives but clear focus on what he did and absorbed
the good and the bad to his heart.
• His brilliancy in planning and implementation.
• His out of the box entrepreneurial thinking skills.
• Cost effectiveness through sheer intuition.
• Ability to identify people for right positions.
• Communication within himself before arriving at decisions.
Mr Don Lucian Nimal Saparamadu was soft spoken but lion hearted. Never displayed
‘Pride’ through his life style, and not extravagant either. He was totally
unassuming. Occasionally displayed displeasures but followed up with ‘Forgive
and Forget’ principle across the board to all employees very convincingly.

Origin of Optimum Knowledge Institute popularly known as OKI International School has a history as far back as 1998. Passing the lank mark of 10th Anniversary reviewing of its achievements the stakeholders: Investors, Management, Tutorial staff, Parents and Children collectively shared prizes and surprises with joy and zooming into the glamorous future ahead of them. The development and the expansion of the school at Wattala had been rapid, and branch extensions were timely

SUCCESSION |
It is with regret we write in this article the sudden demise of our founder
chairman Mr Nimal Saparamadu on 15th December 2010. The void created over
his demise is now filled by his spouse Mrs Nirmalie Saparamadu.
Mrs Nimani Ranasinghe, Mrs Denum Abeysekara, Mr Senani Ranasinghe, Mr Hemal
Abeysekara, the four Directors who have been assisting the chairperson from
distant locations, after the untimely demise of Chairman Mr Nimal Saparamadu,
commencing from 4th July 2011, strengthening the Academic, Extra Curricular,
Maintenance activities, and Widening the Scope of OKI activities entered on full
time basis. They are operating from the Main School. This was a fulfilment of a
dire need in view of the vacuum created on the succession plan.
